Try out this chicken, carrot rice puree for them. One thing we love about this particular baby food is that you can store leftovers in ice cube trays and they can always be heated up whenever you want to use them again. This is a baby recipe worth trying.
Ingredients:
Half carrot (sliced)
1 cup rice (cooked)
1 cup boneless, skinless chicken breast (cooked)
Directions:
Put carrots into a cup with about 2cups of water and cook until very soft.
Stir in rice and chicken and bring to boil; simmer until rice is soft. Remove from heat. Do not drain but let it cool slightly.
Transfer to blender. Puree until smooth, adding a little water to adjust consistency if needed. Let it cool for about 15 minutes before serving.
