These days it’s so easy to leave your kids alone with the TV, their iPads and all other gadgets that keep their attention glued to a screen. While the time they’re engaged is time you can rest and have some peace of mind, it is also valuable bonding time that you’re losing. There are many ways to build closer relationships with your kids – one fun way is to cook with them.
Today’s the last day of the long weekend so if you haven’t spent much time with them, get out of bed and get into the kitchen. Make it a fun experience – you may decide to bake a cake and assign everyone a task. You break the eggs while they whisk the batter. It might get a little messy but we’re sure you’ll all enjoy the experience.
