How to make Vodka Hibiscus Tea Pops
We are sure by now, you know that we love hibiscus plant. You are probably surprised at the many things you can make out of the “regular zobo”. We are just as surprised too. Today’s mixology recipe is hibiscus tea pops with vodka. In other words, we are making alcoholic tea pops!!!
We are super excited so get your pen and paper as we are about to give you hibiscus tea pops recipe (zobo with a difference :D)
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups hibiscus tea (zobo drink)
- Vodka
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
Directions:
- Fill a large bowl halfway with ice water. Pour the quantity of vodka you need into the hibiscus drink (you can substitute vodka for water when making the hibiscus drink if you want. ace the bowl of hibiscus drink in the ice water and stir occasionally until room temperature. Cover the hibiscus drink and refrigerate until completely cooled. This should be done for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Divide the hibiscus drink among ice pop molds or wax-lined paper cups and freeze until it’s just beginning to set. Insert the sticks into the molds or cups. Let the ice pops freeze for at least 3 more hours, then unmold or peel off the paper cups.
