Beef Burger with Avocado Salsa

How to make Beef Burger with Avocado Salsa

If you must have burger, how about you try to garnish with some healthy ingredients like avocado and lime juice? Two chunky slices or more of avocado, some coriander, lime juice, tomatoes and onions will strike this balance just fine!

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 12 minutes



2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped

½ red chili, finely chopped

½ lime juice

beef burgers

drizzle olive oil

burger buns

4 slices red onion, for each burger

4 slices large tomato, for each burger

sprinkles cheddar, grated, for each burger


  1. Chop 2 avocados into small cubes and stir through 2tbsp finely chopped coriander, ½ finely-chopped red chili and the juice of ½ lime.
  1. Sprinkle 4 beef burgers with olive oil, pop them on the barbecue for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked, turning now and then.
  1. Pile the salsa on top of the burgers in sesame seed buns with a slice of red onion, tomato, lettuce and a sprinkling of grated cheddar.

Tip: great brunch idea or a perfect snack idea for an evening hang-out with friends!
