Finland Rice Porridge Recipe

How to Make Finland Rice Porridge 

Today is Finland Independence Day and we have this yummy or scrumptious rice porridge recipe to celebrate with them (Yaay).

What better way to start the day.

Preparation time – 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (1/2 litre) water
  • 6 cups (1 1/2 litres) milk
  • 1 1/4 cups (3 dl) rice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 blanched almond

 
Steps

1. Add the rice to the boiling milk and water mixture.
2. Simmer until cooked. Add the salt and one blanched almond. Serve with ground cinnamon, sugar to taste, and milk.
