How to make Ginger Rum Peach Punch
Do you need a cocktail that doesn’t require constant shaking? Then this ginger flavoured rum peach punch is for you. It can be mixed well in advance and is a real easy drinker.
If you do not want to make a peach puree, all you need to do is to add slices of peach to the punch and leave to settle for about 24 hrs. The colour may change but it will still taste great.
Add a good bit of lime or lemon to preserve the color – just adjust the recipe if you do that.
Ingredients:
1 peach (sliced)
1/2 ounce Syrup (sugar and water solution)
1 small lime or lemon (sliced)
2 1/2 ounces Rum
Ginger (grated)
Freshly ground nutmeg
2 pieces lemon peel
Directions:
Combine the peach, syrup, lime juice, and rum into a glass. Give it a good stir then pour into glasses filled with ice.
Top with the ginger and give a light stir. Finish with a bit of freshly grated nutmeg, a twist of lemon peel.
If you are making this for a crowd you can add the nutmeg
