How to make Heart Shaped Chocolate Cupcakes
If you didn’t know before, cake mixes are the easiest ways to bake cakes. You just need to follow the instructions on the box and that’s it! You don’t need to be an expert to bake cakes using a cake mix box
Ingredients:
Cupcakes
1 box Domo chocolate cake mix
Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
Frosting
1 cup butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Red or pink food colour
Directions:
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Make cake batter as directed on box. Fill each cup two-thirds full of batter (you can use our Tescoma Delicia Silicon Hearts Pan).
- Bake for about 15 minutes or a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely on cooling rack.
- In large bowl, beat softened butter, powdered sugar, milk and vanilla with electric mixer on high speed 3 to 4 minutes or until frosting is light and fluffy. Add food color to get the desired shade of pink.
- Spread frosting on cooled cupcakes with a knife or use a decorating bag fitted with plain tip. Top with candy sprinkles.
