How to make Strawberry Oat Smoothie
Someone once said that smoothies are a lazy man’s way of staying healthy. LOL! All we can say is lazy or not, smoothies are the life! They are very easy to make and also very healthy. You can’t blame a lazy man for making smoothies a keeper.
This smoothie has enough strawberries to give you a full day’s worth of vitamin C. The oats in it also adds some fiber. Do we need to say more about this smoothie?
Ingredients:
2 cups strawberries (frozen)
1 frozen banana (sliced)
¾ cup water
¾ cup milk
½ cup rolled oats
10-12 fresh mint leaves
Directions:
Toss everything in the blender and blend until smooth.
NOTE: If you like a thick smoothie, add more oats, but keep it at ½ a cup if you want to drink this with a straw. You can add your favorite protein powder.
