How to make Baked Plantain Chips with Avocado Dip
This recipe is very delicious, but one thing we love about this recipe is that it is also very healthy. So don’t feel guilty munching this combo because you will be doing your body a lot of good.
For those that are still wondering what this is, this is basically baked unripe plantain fries with avocado dip.

Ingredients:
Baked Plantain Fries
1 large green plantain (cut into strips)
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Sea salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Garlic Avocado Dipping Sauce
1 avocado (halved and pitted)
1 large clove garlic (chopped)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Sea salt to taste
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 425ºF. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, toss the plantain strips in the coconut oil with sea salt and garlic powder. Place fries on sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes. Turning the fries at intervals. Bake until golden or brown slightly.
Allow to cool a few minutes before serving
Put avocado in a blender, add the garlic, lime juice and salt. Blend until somewhat smooth and creamy. Add some water and blend until really smooth and creamy.
Then drizzle in the olive oil. Blend until well mixed and creamy.
NOTE: It’s best for a recipe like this one, to opt for green plantains as they are more starchy, aren’t too soft or sweet.
