How to make Pina Colada
There are so many things to love about this vegan and gluten free smoothie recipe. One of which is the fact that you get to use Coconut water, which is a great substitute for water after a workout because it’s been found to offer the same hydration as leading sports drinks. Another thing to love about it is the name – Pina Colada. Such a fancy name right? LOL.
On a much more serious note, this smoothie highlights a super fruit like pineapple, which boosts the immune system and has a ton of vitamin C. You can also add bananas if you like for extra flavour.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup coconut water (or try coconut water ice cubes)
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1 teaspoon honey
1 tablespoon shredded coconut
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
